Something similar happened to me. It’s sickening. It takes a high level of manipulation and compartmentalization to be able to go on a trip with someone else when you are in a committed relationship. This person may have low empathy for others and struggle with narcissistic traits. Which is something they need to figure out on their own. But it is sooo painful and traumatic to find out something like this. The book Leave a cheater gain a life and chump lady’s blog helped me a lot to understand cheaters and see the signs of manipulation. It’s not your fault. Remember your standards. Go no contact—- including not checking their social media. The pain will go away eventually.
