About Breakup Buddy

Why this exists

Breakup Buddy started because I went through a breakup and needed something that didn't exist yet — an always-available companion that could help me process what I was feeling without judgment, at 3 AM, when no one else was awake.

What started as a personal project became an app with 75+ CBT-based exercises, AI coaching, mood tracking, journaling, and a community of people going through the same thing.

What this is

Breakup Buddy is a peer-support tool, not therapy. It uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) exercises and AI to help you process your feelings, track your healing, and build a path forward.
