Seeking Advice

Idk

So 7 years, down the drain on August 24th. I’ve been busy with family since that day. Tomorrow I have to go house sit another family members house for a week. In which I will be all alone. I honestly don’t think it’s hit me fully yet. Should I keep busy ? Should I sit it what I’m feeling ? Idk what to do .. I think my head is just so confused.

I would bring something that keeps your hands busy. Just in case the emotions become too much to sit with you have something to focus on. If you like legos or Minecraft, those have helped me stay distracted.

Take a day to sit with it and see how you feel from there. It’s important to balance time to let yourself feel your emotions but it will probably be a lot, so ease the pressure when you need to. You’ll know what you need moment to moment. Scream cry into a pillow. Do the breakup buddy exercises. Just try to avoid things that feed any anxious or angry behavior, like social media stalking etc… When these urges come up, try to distract yourself. Meditate, call or see a friend in person if you can. Sending love!
