Narcissistic Husbanf

So I currently have a protective order on my husband, mind you this wasn’t the first time he’d been abusive, but I told him the next time would be his last. Well of course he can’t respect the no contact, but today he told me to my face that because I won’t lift the protective order I’m not doing enough so I asked him to see himself to the door. If he had done the minimum we wouldn’t be here. Anyone dealt with something similar? How did you handle it… or how would you handle it?

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. If I’m understanding correctly, he has breached the protective order to talk to you?? Has he done other things that doesn’t respect the no contact? It’s so hard to stand up for yourself against someone who doesn’t have the human decency to respect us as a human being. Even when we put our foot down and set up boundaries:(

That is correct. He has called, text, showed up at the house. All I’m asking is he gets some help and we try to work things out after, but he wants instant gratification and I’m stuck. I don’t know if to file for divorce now or wait until the order is over. I’m afraid if I lift it, it will go back to the same thing since he never has to take accountability.
