Searching answers

Do you believe my ex will regret the way he treated me and disrespected me? Do you believe that he misses me like I miss him although everything that happened? Do you think that my ex is relieved now that he dumped me? Guys really regret t house things with time or they never look back? I’m really heartbroken I would like some answers in order to understand why I was never enough for him to try and commit with me but why he was able to commit and try with others many times? This is embarrassing but I’m lonely in this process

This is crazy because you sound like my ex and I’m the guy you’re describing. The truth is yes after dumping I absolutely regretted the way I treated her and disrespected her. She gave me a ton of chances and I didn’t change. I’m 3 months into a 5 year break up with her and I miss her so much. I’ve been taking therapy, reflecting on my past behavior, and truly making sure I do not do this to anyone ever again. Even if your ex does not reach out right away, there will come a point where he will. You have to stay strong and make the best decision for yourself.
