He answered the phone…im torn

I called him and he answered the phone clearly with a woman. He said its never going to be the same and said he needs to “get back to what he was doing”. And hung up. My heart is shattered… its only been 2 months. I feel like im the only one grieving while hes out doing God knows what. It makes me wonder how replaceable i really am. Ill never reach out again. guys please understand this, i know heartbreak is painful but if your ex has not reached out, do not initiate contact. I feel so much worse now

It could be a co worker, a Dr. a dentist? A retail person! U never know! We always think the worst!

I’m so sorry you experienced that. And thank you for the advice. I was dumped 10 days ago and while I wasn’t able to get myself out of bed, I already had a mutual friend tell me that he’s been out drinking and partying with his friends, that he looks the same at work, etc. I’ve felt completely replaceable during our relationship due to the way he spoke about his feelings(or lack of) for me/and seeing it demonstrated has been crushing. I wish you the best with your healing and I hope that you will find someone who makes you feel irreplaceable one day.
